5. Chad Beebe / Brandon Zylstra

The young receivers for the Minnesota Vikings looked good in 2018, with each Chad Beebe and Brandon Zylstra showcasing their skills on occasion to give hope they could be the next player to follow in the footsteps of Adam Thielen and go from UDFA to reliable pass catcher.

However, the two wide receivers will still be behind Thielen and Stefon Diggs as well as former first-round pick Laquon Treadwell on the depth chart. Plus, now they will have competition for the final roster spots.

The Vikings used seventh-round picks on two wide receivers during the 2019 NFL Draft: Dillon Mitchell and Olabisi Johnson, which shows the team wants more competition at that position for the upcoming season.

Sadly, with Minnesota keeping Treadwell, who will likely not have his fifth-year option exercised and has been a disappointment, another roster space will be eaten up and the fight for Beebe and Zylstra to make the roster will be even more of a challenge.
