4. Brett Jones

The Minnesota Vikings went out in free agency and did their best to pick up some of the best free agents to fortify their line. One of those individuals is Brett Jones, a center/guard who the team traded for last season.

Now, the drafting of Garrett Bradbury and Dru Samia, the chances of him being a starter have dropped down to almost nothing and his spot on the depth chart will get pushed even further back.

It’s a little weird to think of someone with 44 games played and 17 starts as someone who will struggle to play a single snap this year, but that seems to be the case for him on the Vikings offensive line now that they have acquired so much talent.

That’s not to say that circumstances won’t happen to where he won’t see the field at all, but while it may be nice for the team and fans to see so much depth, it can’t be great for Jones to know he will be seeing a lot of the sideline on game day.
