Chad Beebe – WR

Beebe already defied the odds during his first season with the Vikings. Signed as an undrafted free agent last year, the 5-foot-10 pass receiver spent the first portion of 2018 on Minnesota’s practice squad before the team activated him in Week 9.

He ended up only appearing in three games last season thanks to a nagging hamstring injury. But Beebe was still able to display some of the skills that helped him land a spot with the Vikings last year.

Unlike his dad, former NFL receiver Don Beebe, the young Minnesota receiver isn’t going to be the fastest pass catcher out on the field in terms of 40-yard dash times. But Beebe is extremely quick and he uses this ability to find a way to get open more often than not.

With the Vikings’ No. 3 receiver job pretty wide open heading into the 2019 season, there’s no reason to believe that Beebe cannot be the guy who ends up earning the role.

If he does, expect him to develop a good chemistry with Minnesota quarterback Kirk Cousins and become a reliable third receiving target. Something that the Vikings missed greatly in 2018 after the departure of Jarius Wright.
