1. Houston Texans – Win percentage of 100.0%
It’s hard to believe that there is an NFL franchise out there who has never defeated the Minnesota Vikings, but there is one. The two squads have only played each other four times, with the purple and gold sweeping the all-time series.
The first two games between the teams were decided by only one score each, but things got more decisive in the final two contests, outscoring Houston by 35 points in those games which took place in 2012 and 2016.
The Texans aren’t a bad team, but they struggle to get wins. Since the start of their franchise in 2002, Houston has only had three seasons with double-digit wins and have only made the postseason five times.
If the rotating schedule continues, Minnesota should face off against the Texans again during the 2020 season. Of course, there is also a chance these two teams could meet on the biggest stage in professional football this season…which would be great for Vikings fans statistically.
Wouldn’t it be great if the Minnesota Vikings could play these four opponents at least once each season? And which franchise on this list has the best chance to be more competitive with the team in the future? Let us know what you think in the comments section below
