Which five players have had the worst performances in their very first NFL season as a member of the Minnesota Vikings since 2014?

Overall, the Minnesota Vikings have been pretty successful with the players they’ve drafted during Mike Zimmer’s tenure as the team’s head coach.

Since Zimmer was hired in 2014, the Vikings have been able to add a number of talented guys through the NFL Draft including Anthony Barr, Dalvin Cook, Stefon Diggs, Danielle Hunter, and Eric Kendricks. By hitting on a good amount of players in the draft, the Minnesota head coach has been able to build one of the best defenses in the league.

Despite the Vikings’ success in the NFL Draft during the last five years, the team has also missed the boat on a fair share of prospects.

Usually, it’s pretty easy to tell which draft picks are going to turn into busts based on how they perform during their very first season in the league. Since Zimmer became the team’s head coach, Minnesota has had a handful of players deliver some forgettable rookie performances.

Of all the Vikings draft selections since 2014, which five have played the absolute worst during their first season with the team?
