TCO Performance Center will house more than the Minnesota Vikings this summer as they open up the stadium to three nights of concerts for fans.

One of the best things about living in the Twin Cities is being able to attend training camp. Seeing Minnesota Vikings players at TCO Performance Center working out and signing autographs can be a great time.

However, the team will be opening up to host three days of concerts called the Summer SKOLstice at the practice stadium in Eagan featuring some talented musicians with chart-topping hits. The Vikings made this announcement in an email blast as well as shared by the Star Tribune.

The series will be hosted from June 20-22 and will have plenty of music, food, and art with Nordic flair available. Here are the dates and announced artists who will be performing with a 7 pm start time:

  • June 20: Rick Springfield with the Family Stone, Tommy Tutone, and Eddie Money
  • June 21: Joss Stone and Elle King with Mint Condition
  • June 22: St. Paul and the Broken Bones with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and Judith Hill

Rick Springfield is best known for his hit song “Jessie’s Girl” which won a Grammy in 1982 for Best Rock Vocal Male Performance. He also has four platinum albums and one gold which provided nine top 20 hits.

Joss Stone is best known for her song “Super Duper Love” which features a bluesy, soul-inspired sound. Meanwhile, Elle King struck gold with the radio-friendly hit “Ex’s and Oh’s” and won a CMA Award for Vocal Event of the Year in 2016.

St. Paul and the Broken Bones is an eight-piece soul band from Alabama. They have had two songs in the top ten of the U.S. Adult Alternative charts: “Call Me” and “Apollo“.
