Where can Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen go from here?

Last year couldn’t have been much better for Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen. Both pass catchers eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark for the season as well as caught more than 100 passes and caught nine touchdowns each, which is quite impressive for a receiver duo.

The problem here is that a more balanced offense might actually hurt the statistics of these two players, especially if the Minnesota Vikings can actually move the ball on the ground. That means catches and yardage could take a dip with fewer balls thrown their way.

This year could find a bit more separation from the two pass catchers as well. Thielen has been consistent with Diggs improving each year, but it could be interesting to see if Diggs can finally surpass Thielen in catches or yards.

Secondary question: What will Laquon Treadwell’s role be?

Right now, it looks like Laquon Treadwell will be the WR3 for Minnesota, but he would be a very low-tier option. So far, he hasn’t done much to earn that role…so it wouldn’t be shocking to see one of the younger players on the roster jump him on the depth chart.
