Rudolph will likely be with the Vikings in 2019

Kyle Rudolph’s status with the Vikings has been one of the hot topics of the 2019 offseason. During this year’s OTAs, Rudolph was able to provide a little clarity to what is currently going on between him and Minnesota.

The Vikings tight end confirmed a report that the team has offered him a five-year extension. However, no new deal has been signed by Rudolph yet.

The veteran tight end has made it clear numerous times over the past few weeks that he wants to remain with Minnesota for the upcoming season. But he also is aware of the business side of the NFL and the Vikings have to do what is best for their team with or without him in 2019.

For anyone looking to make a wager on the outcome of this situation, go ahead and put your money on Rudolph staying in Minnesota this year. He wants to stay and it seems like the Vikings want him to stay so don’t bet on him ending up in a different uniform next season.
