Garrett Bradbury (2019)
This choice still is premature, but definitely one mentioning.
The Vikings struggles during their hideous 2018 season were by in large their offensive line not opening up running lanes or protecting their quarterback. Minnesota had unfortunately and unexpectedly lost their offensive line coach Tony Sparano during the off-season last year and struggled to get any continuity going throughout the season.
The fact that they started six different offensive line combinations across the entire 16 game season shows how much of a shambles this line was in. Cousins was sacked nearly 40 times last season, which is nearly double what Keenum was sacked the year prior.
The Vikings line also paved the way to 100 yards just five times last year. They clearly needed improvement and while Garrett Bradbury has yet to play a down in a Vikings uniform, you can bet that he is a massive upgrade to this line as he allowed zero sacks his senior year at N.C. State.
Which first-round draft pick from the Rick Spielman era of the Minnesota Vikings do you think was his best choice? And which of the players selected will be the best in the future of the franchise? Let us know in the comments!
