During their recent four-day mandatory minicamp, what did we learn about the Minnesota Vikings from everything that took place out on the practice fields?

For the Minnesota Vikings, the 2019 offseason is just about over with following the conclusion of their four-day mandatory minicamp on Thursday. The Vikings’ players and coaches will now have the opportunity to rest up and prepare for training camp that will likely begin at the end of July.

During these recent OTA and minicamp practices, Minnesota was able to learn a lot about their current team. The Vikings should now have a pretty good idea about what they need to work on during training camp and the preseason.

This will be Mike Zimmer’s sixth year as Minnesota’s head coach and everyone is hoping it turns out to be his best one yet. If not, it’s possible that Zimmer could be currently preparing for his final training camp with the Vikings.

Minnesota and their head coach have taken a number of steps this offseason to give the team a good shot at achieving success in 2019. At the very least, the Vikings are hoping they can perform better than they did last season.

A few more steps in Minnesota’s journey back to becoming a contender were taken this week during their mandatory minicamp. What are some of the top takeaways from everything that took place on the Vikings’ practice fields over the last few days?
