Bradbury already meeting expectations

Prior to this year, the Vikings had not used their first-round draft pick on an interior offensive lineman since 1988 when they selected future Hall of Famer, Randall McDaniel.

So for Minnesota to use their first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft on former North Carolina State center Garrett Bradbury, the team had to be convinced they were getting an immediate starter for their offensive line. Well, this is exactly how it has turned out.

Vikings offensive advisor Gary Kubiak recently revealed that Bradbury has already been inserted as the team’s starting center. This means that the rookie has already done enough in OTAs and minicamp to prove that he was well worth the first-round draft selection Minnesota used to add him.

The hope is that Bradbury will be a mainstay on the Vikings’ offensive line for at least a decade. And who knows, maybe he’ll end up in Canton like the last interior offensive lineman Minnesota used a first-round pick on.
