The 1990s were a great time to be a fan of the Minnesota Vikings and the team made some great choices when it came to the NFL Draft in that decade.

For fans of the Minnesota Vikings, the 90s were a great time to follow the team. Some of the franchise’s best players and most impressive performances on the football field came in that decade.

Still, even with all the greatness that came in that ten-year stretch, there were some mistakes and surprises, including some of the tough decisions made by the team’s general manager at the NFL Draft.

Sometimes draft picks don’t pan out. Other times, a later pick emerges to be a talent which fell further than they should have. The gamble on some of these players proved to be massively beneficial to the future of the franchise.
