Kyle Rudolph was recently extended by the Minnesota Vikings. But will that extension lead to a better or worse season for the veteran tight end in 2019?

After months of speculation on whether or not he’d be back for the 2019 season, the Minnesota Vikings opted to extend their star tight end, Kyle Rudolph. He’ll be part of the Vikings offense for the next four seasons.

Vikings fans and coaches are excited to see what Rudolph can do in his second year with quarterback Kirk Cousins and a Gary Kubiak influenced offense and there are a lot of reasons to think that Rudolph can improve upon what was already a very solid 2018 season.

There are also some reasons to think that maybe he can’t produce the numbers that he did last year.

We will look at some reasons why Rudolph could be better in 2019, and also a couple of reasons why he may not be able to put up the solid stats like he has in the past.
