Stefon Diggs

Stefon Diggs is without a doubt one of the most explosive players on Minnesota’s roster and he will be for the entirety of the 2019 season.

Diggs is the man behind the most explosive play in recent Vikings history, the Minneapolis Miracle, and he will forever go down in team history because of it.

There are so many aspects to Diggs’ game that make him such an explosive player. He’s got great speed and hands, but he also is a nuanced route runner. He can stop on a dime and he is a quick-twitch athlete who can get in and out of his breaks in a flash.

Diggs’ stats back up his firecracker status on this list. Last year, his longest catch went for 75 yards and a touchdown. In addition to that, he had 13 receptions of over 20 yards and two that ended up with gains of at least 40 yards.

In his career, Diggs has a total of 50 catches that have gained 20 yards or more. This is a man who has been explosive during his entire tenure in the NFL.

Diggs could be even better in his second season with Kirk Cousins. If the Vikings’ running game is improved in 2019, it could also open up more down the field plays for Diggs, making him even more explosive than he’s been in the past.
