When the Minnesota Vikings take the field for their first meaningful game of 2019, what single-season franchise records have a decent chance at being broken?

Potential is something the 2019 Minnesota Vikings have and a lot of it. Heading into the upcoming season, the Vikings are fully capable of having a franchise-defining year and ending up with the team’s first-ever Super Bowl win.

For 2019, there is also the potential for a number of Minnesota’s all-time single-season records to be broken. This chance exists every year, but there a few Vikings records that seem to have a better shot at being broken than others in 2019.

Minnesota has a number of players on the offensive side of the ball that have the ability to re-write some of the franchise’s all-time records during the upcoming season. The same can be said for some of the guys they have on defense and special teams too.

After last year’s underwhelming performance by the Vikings, the team’s players and coaches should be more motivated than ever to have an unforgettable campaign in 2019.

If Minnesota is able to achieve success during the upcoming season, the chance of multiple team records being broken certainly seems more likely. So when looking at every Vikings’ all-time single-season record, which five have the best shot at being re-written in 2019?
