With a little over a month until the start of the 2019 regular season, who are some free agents that the Minnesota Vikings could still add to their roster?

It’s now the middle of July and the 2019 offseason is pretty much over for the Minnesota Vikings. But this doesn’t mean that there still aren’t ways for the Vikings to improve their roster before their first game of the regular season against the Atlanta Falcons on September 8.

One way in which Minnesota can improve their roster before their matchup with the Falcons would be to turn to the free-agent market. There are still a number of talented players without a team for 2019 who could help the Vikings.

During the recent past, Minnesota hasn’t been afraid to add a free agent or two while they’re still in training camp. Just last year, the Vikings signed veteran safety George Illoka in August after he was released by the Cincinnati Bengals.

There are still some areas of Minnesota’s roster that could use an upgrade in talent or experience and the current free agent pool is a place where they could turn for some help. The Vikings don’t currently have a ton of spending money, so whoever they sign would have to agree to a pretty low salary.

Of the remaining free agents that are available, who are some of the players that could still help the Vikings achieve their goals in 2019?
