6 free agents who could still help the Vikings in 2019

Matt Bryant – K
Despite hitting 95.2 percent of his field goal attempts last season (including a 57-yarder), the Atlanta Falcons still decided to part ways with longtime kicker Matt Bryant this year.
Bryant is still without a team for 2019 and it wouldn’t be the worst idea in the world for the Vikings to bring him in as another camp leg. Dan Bailey is currently the only kicker on Minnesota’s roster and him not having any competition before the season doesn’t seem like the best possible decision.
Bailey is coming off of two straight years that saw him only convert 75 percent of his field goal tries. Considering the Vikings’ amazing luck with kickers (especially Mike Zimmer), it’s a little odd that they still haven’t brought in anyone else to compete for the job.
But if Bailey misses a few kicks in the preseason, don’t be surprised if Zimmer forces Minnesota’s front office to bring in other kickers to try out for the team. If this happens, Bryant could (and should) be one of the guys given an opportunity to beat out Bailey for a spot on the Vikings’ 2019 roster.
