This time of year, teams like the Minnesota Vikings have many players come to camp for competitions. However, there are some players with nothing to prove.

Preseason and training camp are important times for players hoping to achieve their dreams of playing in the NFL or going after a championship. Teams like the Minnesota Vikings try to accumulate as much talent as possible to create a roster built for success.

However, not every position is really open to competition. Some players have already established themselves as being mainstays in the team’s plans and should have their names written in ink on the 53-man roster before training camp officially starts.

Some of these players are veterans while others are high-potential individuals who have shown flashes of brilliance in the past in limited roles. But either way, they don’t have a lot left to prove to the coaching staff or themselves.

Let’s take a look at five players on the roster of the Minnesota Vikings who have absolutely nothing to prove to fans, coaches, teammates, or themselves as they head toward the 2019 NFL season.
