3. Dalvin Cook – RB

Dalvin Cook is entering the third year of his career and he has played just 15 games total. Injuries are starting to pile up and he is getting the dreaded “injury prone” title, which can be very detrimental to fantasy football stock.

During his rookie year, Cook was having a very productive start to the season before he tore his ACL in Week 4 against the Detroit Lions which forced him to miss the remainder of the 2018 season.

Coming off that injury last year, the hopes were high that Cook could remain healthy and pick up right where he left off.

Week 1 got fantasy owners excited, as they saw their running back receive 16 carries, which was a sign that he was fully healthy and ready to take on a heavy workload in 2018. Unfortunately, in the waning moments of the Vikings week two game against the Green Bay Packers, Cook went down with another injury that basically held him out until Week 9.

He only had one game of over 100 yards last year and failed to get a touchdown in all but one game of the season. Cook ended 2018 fully healthy and with all of the changes on the offense as a whole this offseason, he has a chance to be the steal of fantasy football drafts.

He’s currently being ranked by FantasyPros as the 12th overall running back, but he has the tools and the ability to be a top-five fantasy football running back year after year.
