2. Stefon Diggs – WR

The case can be made for Stefon Diggs to be the top fantasy football option for the Vikings in 2019.

Diggs possesses just about every tool you look for in a top wide receiver. He has tremendously strong hands, his route running is at an elite level, his footwork is flawless, his ability to release and create separation is a work of art, and the way he can work his way into open space shows how intelligent he is when it comes to the game of football.

Wondering what the main reason that separates him from the guy at No. 1? It’s his ability to stay healthy.

Diggs has yet to play a full 16-game season since entering the league in 2015. Last year was the highest amount of games he’s played in a season. Granted he missed just contest, but it’s a red flag that needs to be waved when you look at drafting him during the early parts of your draft.

Diggs has all the ability in the world to be a top 10 fantasy football wide receiver. But that ability is null and void if he isn’t on the field helping your team win. If Diggs can put together a 16-game season, we could be looking at a league winner.

He’s currently ranked as the 15th overall wide receiver by FantasyPros and he has the potential to end the year a lot higher than that.
