Laquon Treadwell – WR

Laquon Treadwell has been one of the Vikings’ biggest draft busts in recent memory. The former first-round pick just hasn’t been able to get close to living up to that lofty status and the expectations that come with it.

He is actually coming off his best season with 35 receptions for 302 yards with one score, which is very sad. Treadwell also dropped a lot of passes and it just feels like he’s a long shot at best to make Minnesota’s final 53-man roster this season.

Former first-round picks seem to always get multiple chances to live up to their draft status and Treadwell should be no different.

He does have good size and he is a physical wide receiver who is an excellent blocker. There are many teams who currently need wide receiver help and could take a chance on Treadwell. The New York Giants and the Kansas City Chiefs are two that could be interested if he became available.

The New England Patriots also aren’t afraid to give a highly touted player a second chance and could look for a reclamation project in Treadwell.

So while Treadwell faces an uphill challenge to make the Vikings this year, his chances of staying in the league for at least one more season remain very high.
