Thanks to some veterans getting the day off, a few of the younger Minnesota Vikings got some valuable reps during Friday’s training camp practice.

On their current roster, the Minnesota Vikings have a number of players who have been with the team for a handful of seasons. When it comes time for training camp, sometimes a few of the Vikings’ veterans are lucky enough to get an extra day or two off from practice.

Friday’s session was one of these days for a few of Minnesota’s more experienced players. Adam Thielen, Everson Griffen, Harrison Smith, Kyle Rudolph, and Xavier Rhodes were among the guys that had the afternoon off for the Vikings on Friday.

In addition to these players not practicing, Ade Aruna, Curtis Cothran, and Aviante Collins did not participate in Friday’s practice due to undisclosed injuries.

Shamar Stephen was no longer a non-participant on Friday though. Minnesota announced earlier in the day that they had removed Stephen from the non-football injury list and the defensive tackle was seen taking part in Friday’s practice.

As for the rest of his teammates, how did everyone look during the Vikings’ seventh full-team practice of their 2019 training camp?
