Right: The Mankato monster getting some love!

Seeing Adam Thielen ranked at number 33 on the list of the Top 100 of 2019 may confuse those who don’t watch the Minnesota Vikings regularly or play fantasy football, but everyone else already knows the damage the dynamic wide receiver can do on the football field.

The last two seasons have been very good for Thielen. Not only did he have 1,000 yards in each of them, but he played in all 16 games despite being banged up by injuries. 2018 saw him shine even more though, posting career highs in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns, proving his previous years were no fluke.

Thielen will enter the year as a player to watch. Not only is he expected to make more insanely tough catches, move the chains, and find the endzone in 2019 but the Vikings will look to him often on important plays while they hope to reach the playoffs after missing the tournament last year.

Placement for him is fair, as he should reside in the 30-40 range considering his emergence in the last few years. Plus, it’s great to see the Minnesota success story gaining the respect of his peers in the voting.
