3 NCAA programs that have helped the Vikings the most

Florida State
The Vikings absolutely love Florida State. I, for one, cannot blame them. With five recent draft picks from Tallahassee, the Vikings know the Seminoles very well.
Dalvin Cook and Xavier Rhodes are the most recent acquisitions out of Florida State, both being high draft picks. Christian Ponder, Letroy Guion, and Everett Dawkins round out five Seminoles since 2008 who have been drafted by Minnesota.
Florida State’s biggest attraction is likely running back Cam Akers. Coming out of high school Akers was one of the most sought after recruits. In two seasons, Akers has totaled 1,992 yards and 16 touchdowns on 394 touches from scrimmage.
Akers has it all. He is a strong and powerful runner with big-play potential and quick feet. His name will more than likely be brought up at some point in the Heisman conversation.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Seminoles have a few NFL-caliber defensive backs. Levonta Taylor is a versatile defender who can play over the top or down as a corner. He is expected to play more of a safety role for Florida State in 2019.
Stanford Samuels III is set to take over as the top draft-eligible cornerback on the roster. Sophomore Asante Samuel Jr. will start opposite Samuels III.
Florida State is continuing to push out NFL-caliber talent and the Vikings should take notice.
