After getting another day off, the Minnesota Vikings players and coaches returned to the practice field at the TCO Performance Center on Monday.

For the first time in over six months, the Minnesota Vikings are beginning a week of practice that will lead into an actual game against another team.

The Vikings will hit the road to face the New Orleans Saints on Friday in their 2019 preseason opener. Minnesota will practice until Wednesday and then they will head out to New Orleans on Thursday.

On Monday, the Vikings were back out on the practice field after having Sunday off. Their night practice on Saturday was full of excitement, so Minnesota’s time off also allowed everyone’s adrenaline to settle down a bit before getting back into action on Monday.

In addition to the Vikings’ players still on the team’s PUP list and NFI list (Mike Hughes, David Morgan, Tashawn Bower), not participating in Monday’s camp practice were Aviante Collins, Ade Aruna, and Kyle Rudolph.

Rudolph is dealing with an injury that Minnesota head coach Mike Zimmer described as, “minor.” So no need for the Vikings to worry about the veteran tight end just yet.

As for everyone else, what were some of the most notable moments from Minnesota’s return to the practice field on Monday?
