Dillon does his best OBJ impression

During this year’s training camp, the Vikings have had a bunch of guys make some highlight-reel plays out on the practice field. This was the case, once again, on Monday when rookie tight end Brandon Dillon made an impressive one-handed catch.

Dillion’s reception didn’t result in a touchdown, but the play certainly got a nice reaction from the fans that were in attendance to watch practice on Monday.

Undrafted out of Marion, the chances of the 6-foot-5, 250-pound rookie tight end making Minnesota’s active roster this year seem pretty slim. Especially considering the talent Dillon has in front of him on the Vikings’ tight end depth chart (Kyle Rudolph, Irv Smith Jr., Tyler Conklin, David Morgan).

His best-case scenario for 2019 would likely be to spend the season on Minnesota’s practice squad. At the very least though, Dillon will always be remembered for making this amazing catch on Monday.
