Which Minnesota Vikings players shined during the team’s Week 1 preseason game against the New Orleans Saints? Here are the game’s MVPs!

Even though it’s the preseason, the Minnesota Vikings need to do well in exhibition play. Getting the offense and defense on the same page before the 2019 season is essential if the team wants to make the playoffs year.

Their journey started in Week 1 when the squad hit the road for New Orleans to take on the Saints. Of course, there is plenty of history and familiarity between these two teams, so that alone made the game interesting.

Players were hard at work to show they are worthy of spots on the team’s 53-man roster or practice squad to keep their NFL dreams alive while others were out to show that this year will be different from the last.

Let’s take a look at the Most Valuable Players from the offense and defense as well as some of the players who put together a great game but didn’t quite land an award this week. We’ll kick it off with the runner-up players from the offense.
