The best thing

This was an easy choice. Watching the first team of the Minnesota Vikings on offense against the Saints was a thing of beauty. If you can forget the holding call at the beginning of the game, there was a lot to love on the first drive.

Kirk Cousins was excellent in the small amount of football he played. He moved around the pocket well, and if things did fall apart he was quick to escape or move to buy himself some time. If he saw the opportunity to run for a first down, he took it.

His final stat line for the game saw him complete all four of his passes for 65 yards and a touchdown while adding one run which resulted in ten yards and a first down. His quarterback rating was absolutely perfect at 158.3.

There really can’t be any faults found with his play in this game. His accuracy, timing, decision-making, and execution were all on point, and that’s a good sign for the Minnesota Vikings offense during the 2019 NFL season.
