5 Vikings who increased their stock after the first preseason game

Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer hasn’t really been too pleased with the performance of his young wide receivers in this year’s training camp. But after Minnesota’s preseason game against the Saints, Zimmer should at least be happy with what Bisi Johnson was able to do out on the field.
Johnson got the opportunity to play with the Vikings’ second-team offense and he made the most of his time against New Orleans. The rookie receiver out of Colorado State finished the matchup with two catches for 35 yards and one impressive touchdown grab.
Despite an under-thrown pass by Minnesota quarterback Sean Mannion, Johnson was still able to leap over a Saints defender and haul his first-ever NFL touchdown. It was arguably the most impressive play of the night by a Vikings player.
Considering that Johnson was actually able to well during his reps with the second-team offense, his chances of making Minnesota’s regular season roster have greatly improved.
