5 teams who could potentially trade for Laquon Treadwell

New York Giants
Did you play wide receiver in the NFL? How about college? High school? Pop Warner? Heck, do you have a pulse? Then the New York Giants want YOU to play wide receiver this season.
The Giants’ pass-catching unit is in complete shambles and that stretches beyond their odd decision to trade Odell Beckham Jr. to the Cleveland Browns this year.
New York thought that Golden Tate could fill those massive shoes, but he was suspended for taking a fertility drug and being honest about it. Sterling Shepard also broke his thumb and with everything considered, it’s going to be a rough year for Big Blue.
With the obvious dearth at the receiving position, New York makes sense as a destination for Treadwell. The Giants are also coached by Pat Shurmur, who is the one offensive coordinator that Mike Zimmer didn’t throw out the door during his tenure in Minnesota.
Perhaps Zimmer would like to do his old friend a solid favor by offering Treadwell in a trade. But then again, Treadwell didn’t really see the field much when Shurmur was the Vikings’ offensive coordinator.
It’s obvious the Giants are in need of weapons in the passing game, however, and the cheap price for a former first-round pick may be worth the gamble to help either Eli Manning or Daniel Jones this season.
