5 teams who could potentially trade for Laquon Treadwell

Sometimes choosing a potential destination can be made simpler when you go back to where it all began. For Treadwell, that means a reuniting with his old offensive coordinator Norv Turner, who is now with the Carolina Panthers.
When Treadwell was drafted by the Vikings, Turner was almost giddy about his potential and called him the most complete receiver in that year’s class.
While Michael Thomas would certainly disagree, Turner also saw shades of Michael Irvin in Treadwell’s game, citing his ability to go up and get 50/50 balls and to get open by going up and grabbing the football.
Of course, none of those things happened and as Turner tried to revive the “Bang 8” route with Treadwell and Teddy Bridgewater, the entire 2016 season went into the gutter and Turner quit midway through the year.
In Carolina, the Panthers already have D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel, but they could use a bigger receiver to help replace Devin Funchess.
The Panthers had tried to load up on big receivers under Dave Gettleman to help Cam Newton. But even under a new regime, taking a flier on Treadwell could make sense with a coach that is very familiar with his skill set.
