Tramaine Brock – CB

Tramaine Brock was a late addition to the Vikings at the start of the 2017 season. On the day of final cuts that year, Minnesota suddenly realized they wanted to improve their cornerback depth and they thought Brock was the man who could help accomplish that.

The Vikings cut a deal with the Seattle Seahawks and he was traded for a 2018 seventh-round draft pick. Minnesota would like to have that pick back.

Brock was basically a bust with the Vikings. He did appear in 11 games in 2017, but he only had a total of eight tackles and no interceptions or sacks.

At 30-years-old, it appeared his playing days were possibly winding down in 2018. But he was eventually signed by the Denver Broncos and he had a bit of a resurgence during the 2018 season. He started five games in Denver and his play was good enough to get him signed by the Arizona Cardinals this year.

Arizona better hope that his resurgence continues as he’s currently listed as the starting corner opposite Patrick Peterson on their depth chart.

Vikings fans who saw Brock play would highly suggest this aging cornerback is incapable of that feat. But Minnesota will get to see this Saturday just how much this crafty veteran has left in the tank.
