5 Vikings to Watch: Preseason Week 3 vs. the Cardinals

Who are five Minnesota Vikings players to watch during the team’s most important preseason game of the year on Saturday?
The Minnesota Vikings will host the Arizona Cardinals this Saturday inside U.S. Bank Stadium. It’s the third preseason game of the year and the most important.
Starters will likely play almost the entire first half if not more. So we’ll get long looks at Kirk Cousins, Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen, and maybe even get to see a rare appearance by the Vikings’ starting running back.
There are also lower-tiered players on Minnesota’s roster who need strong performances on Saturday to secure their spot on this team.
Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer hasn’t been too impressed with the young members of the team’s receiving corps or their young defensive backs. Zimmer’s disappointment should feed their fire and hopefully, it’s enough to ignite one of them into having a strong performance this weekend.
