Ifeadi Odenigbo – DE

Ifeadi Odenigbo is coming off a beastly performance against the Seahawks last week. He had half a sack and he was living in Seattle’s backfield with his consistent pressure. He was unblockable at times and he really solidified his spot as the favorite to be the primary backup to Danielle Hunter.

It will be worth watching to see if Odenigbo can follow that performance with another solid showing against the Cardinals on Saturday. It’ll also be interesting to see if he will be extra fired up to face his former squad.

Odenigbo was with Arizona for about a month last year. He recorded one tackle for the team before getting cut. He could be playing with some extra motivation this week to show this team they were fools to let him go.

Odenigbo also should just be motivated to prove to his coaches his days of being on the practice squad are over. Not only would it be good to see him register a sack, but having some stops against the run would make Mike Zimmer very happy

Odenigbo has come a long way to get where he is now. Another strong game this Saturday will show that he has indeed taken that next step to becoming a solid contributor for the Vikings’ defense.
