In the “dress rehearsal” preseason game for the Minnesota Vikings, there were some really good performances. Here is the cream of the crop, the MVPs!

Knowing what to expect from a preseason game is usually pretty easy, especially when it comes to the third exhibition game. Teams like the Minnesota Vikings use this opportunity to get their starters up to game speed and then typically rest them in the final game, making this one fun for fans.

However, this was an odd game to try to pick apart and enjoy for several reasons. Individuals who looked great previously took steps backward while others emerged to rise from the depths and fight for a roster spot.

There were some great performances during the 20-9 victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday, Aug. 24 and those on offense and defense who were just head and shoulders above the competition.

Let’s take a look at who was the cream of the crop and rose to the top of the offense and defense for the Minnesota Vikings in Week 3 of the preseason starting with those on offense who looked really good this week.
