With Saturday’s matchup now under wraps, how have the Minnesota Vikings rookies been producing through the first three games of the 2019 preseason?

The Minnesota Vikings are coming off their third win of the 2019 NFL preseason. They defeated the Arizona Cardinals at home and Mike Zimmer’s preseason dominance continues.

It definitely wasn’t the prettiest game of the year, especially as far as the offensive starters are concerned. Many of the Vikings’ rookies got plenty of snaps on Saturday as they battled to secure their positions on the team.

We will get into the offensive and defensive stats shortly but first, let’s talk about Minnesota’s rookie offensive linemen.

First-round pick Garrett Bradbury had his hands full with Cardinals nose tackle Corey Peters. Bradbury had a bit of a mixed performance as he had some good blocks, but he was flagged for holding as well. Kirk Cousins was also sacked twice with the Vikings’ starting offensive line out there and that isn’t ideal.

Minnesota rookie guard Dru Samia’s performance was also mixed with some good and bad moments. Rookie offensive tackle Oli Udoh was out there with the third team when the Vikings’ offense was humming and he played pretty well.

Okay enough of the big men, now for the stats that get everyone excited.
