Stefon Diggs – WR

Stefon Diggs didn’t do much against the Falcons in Week 1. But when only 10 passes are attempted, there aren’t going to be a lot of jaw-dropping numbers on the stat sheet for anyone. But it did feel like the Vikings were being a bit cautious with Diggs last week.

He was questionable with a hamstring injury leading up to the game and it appeared that the team purposely wasn’t looking his way in fear of making that injury worse.

Hamstring injuries in wide receivers always seem to linger, so it was wise for Minnesota to keep targets away from one of their star pass catchers. Diggs has been a full go this week in practice though and he should be utilized to the full extent against the hated Packers.

Diggs absolutely destroyed Green Bay a season ago. In two games against them, he caught a combined 17 passes for 205 yards and three touchdowns. He’s a certified Packer killer.

If the Vikings remain committed to the run game again this week, those numbers could dip. It’s clear, however, that Diggs loves playing Green Bay and he will look to have his first huge game of the season against those hated cheeseheads.
