Momentum from last week’s win

There was a good amount of people who expected the Vikings to defeat the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday. But the way in which Minnesota went about getting their victory was something that not many saw coming.

During the opening moments of the game, the Vikings’ defense forced a three-and-out, the special teams came up with a blocked punt, and the offense only needed three plays to find the end zone. After another touchdown on their next offensive drive, Minnesota found themselves leading the Falcons 14-0 midway through the first quarter.

From what they displayed during the opening minutes of last week’s game, the Vikings looked like a team that could compete with anyone in the NFL this season.

If they come out on Sunday and produce similar results during the early portion of their matchup against the Packers, there aren’t many reasons to think that Minnesota won’t be leaving the field with their second win of the year.
