Vikings avoid Lambeau in the cold

More often than not, the Packers are able to utilize the cold weather to their advantage when playing at home late in the season. Since 2009, Green Bay has won 18 of the 22 games they’ve played at Lambeau Field in December.

Luckily for the Vikings, they get to travel to Green Bay when the expected temperature is expected to be around 74 degrees on Sunday.

Minnesota doesn’t have to worry about the snow or the frigid temperature this year. The Vikings can focus strictly on what they need to do to leave the Packers’ home field with a win on Sunday.

Getting a win in Green Bay will still be a tough task for Minnesota this week as the Packers have only lost one home-opener since 2007. But at least the Vikings can count on Sunday’s matchup being a pretty fair fight without the weather playing a factor.
