Eric Kendricks – LB

Eric Kendricks has been very solid so far in 2019. Through two games he has racked up 14 tackles and has been flying all over the field. He has brought a ton of energy to this defense and has been one of the leaders on that side of the ball. There is one thing that Kendricks hasn’t done yet this season though, and that is one of his signature big plays but that could come this week against Oakland.

Eric Kendricks is usually good for one game-changing play a season. Whether it’s an interception that goes for 6, or a strip-sack that he picks up and runs to the endzone, this guy has a knack for making big plays that result in points. Derek Carr is a good quarterback but he did throw two interceptions a week ago against the Chiefs. This Vikings defense is much better than the Chiefs unit and opportunities could come number 54’s way.

Even if he doesn’t make that big play that goes for 6 this week, he’s due for a sack. or some sort of splash play. Keep an eye on Kendricks this Sunday, because he’ll be revved up and ready to get the sour taste of the Packers loss out of the Vikings’ mouths early in this game.
