Raiders’ banged up roster

We’re only two games into the season, but the injuries have already been piling up for Oakland. The Raiders have already had to put nine players on injured reserve including their talented rookie safety Johnathan Abram.

For Sunday against the Vikings, Oakland has already declared receiver Dwayne Harris and guard Gabe Jackson out and then they also have six more guys who are listed as questionable.

One of the players who is questionable for the Raiders this week is starting right guard Denzelle Good. He is currently dealing with an ankle injury and Oakland losing one of their starting offensive linemen for a matchup against a very talented Minnesota defensive line doesn’t exactly seem like a great recipe to get a win.

Outside of who the Raiders have listed on this week’s injury report, they also have some other guys who are hurting a bit heading into Sunday’s game. Oakland’s top receiver, Tyrell Williams, was limited in practice for most of the week due to a hip injury and the team’s top running back, Josh Jacobs, revealed on Thursday that he’s been sick for the past few days and it’s caused him to lose 10 pounds.

So even if the Vikings are without a few of their players on Sunday, their roster still seems to be in much better shape compared to the Raiders.
