Buffalo will be on the Vikings’ mind
Following a disappointing result in Week 2 against the Packers last year (sound familiar?), the Vikings headed into a Week 3 matchup at home against the Buffalo Bills. With the Bills coming off of two terrible losses to start the season, oddsmakers had Minnesota favored to win by more than 16 points.
Well, these people were right about the point spread. They just picked the wrong team to win as Buffalo pummeled the Vikings by a score of 27-6 in their game last year.
For their Week 3 matchup at home against an AFC opponent this season, Minnesota will be looking to avoid what happened to them in 2018.
Every player and coach always says that the results of the previous season don’t matter, but one has to imagine that embarrassing loss to the Bills something that will be on the minds of a few Vikings this week.
Minnesota is favored by more than a touchdown, once again, heading into their Week 3 matchup. However, this doesn’t mean that a win is a guarantee for the Vikings.
In their game against the Raiders on Sunday, Minnesota will definitely be motivated by their loss to Buffalo last season. And due to this, the Vikings shouldn’t have any problems leaving the field with a win against Oakland.
