The worst thing

There are those players in the NFL who are known for having massive games. However, that list doesn’t usually include players like mostly-unknown tight end Darren Waller of the Oakland Raiders.

Waller saw fourteen passes come his way on Sunday and he hauled in thirteen of those for 134 yards. For him to not only get that many targets in this game is one thing, but for him to convert so many plays says that the Vikings didn’t really have an answer for him.

This is a spot where Mackensie Alexander may have come in handy, but it didn’t seem to matter what Minnesota threw at him in this game. The 6’6 receiving option was just too much for the Vikings to handle and it was scary the way there was no answer for him.

Thankfully, the purple and gold were able to bend, but not break when it came to Waller. A lot of his damage came when the game was already put away, but this isn’t something you want to have on tape against your defense going forward.
