What did we learn from the impressive performance put on by the Minnesota Vikings in their Week 3 win over the Oakland Raiders on Sunday?

It might have seemed like just another game for the Minnesota Vikings to some when they faced the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. But after last week’s disappointing results, the Vikings were out to make a statement against the Raiders.

It didn’t take very long for Minnesota to take control of Sunday’s matchup. Just as they did in Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons, the Vikings came out firing against Oakland.

In less than four minutes, Minnesota marched 76 yards down the field and put seven points up on the board after Kirk Cousins was able to connect with Adam Thielen on a pass that resulted in a 35-yard touchdown. The Vikings were able to find the end zone two more times before the half and ultimately walked off the field with a 34-14 win over the Raiders.

A win was hardly a concern for Minnesota this week and with Sunday’s results, the Vikings are now sitting with a 2-1 record this season.

So after another impressive performance this week, what are some of the biggest takeaways from Minnesota’s latest win of 2019?
