Cons of re-signing Treadwell

Laquon Treadwell is far from beloved by Vikings fans. His rough career constantly had fans wanting him gone.

Minnesota finally cut ties with him this year and wanted to move on from the young receiver. And now, they are bringing back a player who they previously lost hope in.

The chemistry and overall relationship may be a little tainted this time around. Can Treadwell get over the hump? Can the team trust him in important situations? Those will be answered with time.

Similarly, Treadwell will have a tough time winning over this fan base. They already thought they got their wish when he was cut, but now he is back.

Will they give him a chance, or will they hound him constantly? I, for one, am a believer in Treadwell. He did a good job of getting open, but his quarterbacks never really looked his way down the field. Hopefully, he can make an impact in his second stint with the Vikings.

While Treadwell is on a shallow roster, that may be concerning for the team. He is now a vital part of the offense as one of only four healthy receivers. Given that rookie Olabisi Johnson has no experience, Treadwell will be a veteran of sorts for the receiving unit.
