5 Vikings players to watch in Week 4 against the Bears
By Nik Edlund
The Minnesota Vikings have a very big game this Sunday afternoon against the Bears. Who are five Vikings players to keep a close eye on in that battle?
The Minnesota Vikings have an extremely important game this Sunday at Soldier Field against the Chicago Bears. These teams are both 2-1 and looking to jump up in the NFC North standings after the Packers Week 4 loss to the Eagles.
The Bears still have one of the toughest defenses in the league. It is led up front by game changer Khalil Mack. The pressure he creates upfront often allows their very good secondary to make plays on the ball and amass a lot of turnovers. Yards and touchdowns will be hard for the Vikings to come by this Sunday. This could very well be a low scoring, meat grinder type of game with both defenses beating up on the offenses.
The Bears offensively, are a little quirky. Matt Nagy likes to do a lot of motion, and read-option stuff. He also uses Tarik Cohen in a variety of ways. The Vikings defense will need to stay home and not react too quickly to the various play fakes Nagy rolls out.
The Vikings will need to play a turnover-free game, and keep penalties to a minimum if they hope to win in Chicago this weekend. That being said, here are 5 players who will be key to a Vikings victory and should be watched closely as the game unfolds.
