Brian O’Neill – OT

Brian O’Neill has been fantastic for the Vikings since being selected in the second round in 2018. He flat out has been the team’s best offensive lineman and continues to get better every single week. He has a huge task in front of him this Sunday.

O’Neill plays right tackle for the Vikings and could end up seeing quite a bit of Khalil Mack during the game. Mack is so quick off the ball and explosive that if O’Neill takes one false step or is slow out of his stance it’ll be too late. Mack is also very powerful so O’Neill needs to be ready for that. He needs to be 100 percent focused every single snap as Mack will be coming at him completely unleashed and unglued.

The Vikings will likely give O’Neill help with either a guard, back, or tight end cracking down on Mack. O’Neill is a promising young player and has loads of talent but he simply cannot handle Mack one on one.

The Vikings need to realize they aren’t going to shut Mack down, but if they can slow him down and keep his big plays to a minimum, that’ll go a long way in them winning this football game.
