Kirk Cousins – QB

Kirk Cousins has shown in his career that he can’t win in primetime, struggles on the road, and can’t beat an opponent with a winning record. He can start shedding those labels with a solid performance against the Bears this Sunday.

It would be great for Kirk Cousins to put this team on his back and play an excellent game. A game where he is completely zeroed in and making great throws and even better decisions with the football. He has only done that at home against inferior opponents, but if he’s ever going to live up to that $84 million deal he got from the Vikings, he needs to start this Sunday.

Granted, most fans will take the Kirk Cousins we saw a week ago against the Raiders. He was smart with the football, ran it when he had to, and played turnover-free. If he can do that against the Bears it should be enough to get the win. That would be nice to see, but it’s time for Cousins to take a game over.

It won’t be easy against this attacking Bears defense in their home stadium, but the great ones shine the brightest in the toughest games, and if Cousins wants to be great, it’s time for him to light it up.
