Vikings are still cursed in Chicago

There seems to just be something about the Vikings’ annual trip to Chicago that usually results in everything going wrong for Minnesota.

For the past two decades, the Vikings have struggled to get a road win against the Bears. It doesn’t matter how good or how bad the Bears are playing at the time of their matchup either, the outcome normally tends to not work out in Minnesota’s favor during their games in the Windy City each season.

Current Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer has actually been able to lead the team to two road victories over Chicago during his tenure. With Sunday’s results though, Minnesota has now also lost four of their road matchups with the Bears since Zimmer was hired in 2014.

It seemed like the Vikings head coach had figured out how to leave Soldier Field victorious after leading his team to wins in 2015 and 2017. But after losses in their last two trips to Chicago, Minnesota’s old habits on the road against the Bears have seemed to resurface.
