With the rumors of the Minnesota Vikings receiver wanting a trade still running rampant, who are a few teams from around the NFL that might be interested in his services?
At first, the rumors of Stefon Diggs wanting the Minnesota Vikings to trade him seemed silly. Diggs just signed a big contract with the Vikings in 2018 and he was coming off a year that saw him set new single-season career highs for catches, receiving yards, and touchdowns.
Following his comments on Thursday in which he didn’t come out and deny the rumors that he would like Minnesota to trade him, his departure seems much more real than it ever has before.
However, the chances of the Vikings trading Diggs this year still seem very low. Minnesota is reportedly not interested in dealing their star receiver and if he is going to be traded, it’s something that would probably happen after the current season has ended.
Given his tremendous amount of talent, there are a number of teams that would love to add Diggs to their roster. The terrible salary cap situation that the Vikings are heading towards in 2020 makes trading the 25-year-old receiver even more of a legitimate possibility as well.
So whether a deal is made over the next few weeks or during the upcoming offseason, who are some of the teams around the league that actually have a realistic chance of acquiring Diggs in a trade?
